between a wedding and reception

It is always such a fun time, between the wedding and reception. The reception for a wedding is the only time I am ready before it is time to go, ever! So it is always a good time to take pictures with your friends, go to Mc Donald's pretending you always look this amazing and dressed up on a normal day, talk about how gorgeous the bride looks as well as way too many chats about our own non existent weddings (one day Amy, one day!!).

bring on the holidays

Waiting & holding out for university to finish in a few weeks, which is exciting but scary because I still have so much to do before then!
But after its all finished I have a lot to look forward to as Dom's face suggests:

- blogging a lot more on here.
- Matt & Sarah's wedding.
- christmas at Culburra with my beloved Dom.
- the beginning of 2015.
- frolicking about with friends drinking coffee & summer night swims.
-introduction to astronomy online UNSW gen ed (cause why not?)
- my best friends wedding (Sarah & Ben).
- celebrating Dom's 21st just before I ship him off to Europe for 3 weeks for work and exploring .. wait that's my "what Im not looking forward to list"!
(you better buy me lots of presents! ahh the jealously I feel!)

claire and jame's wedding

On August 31st 2014 my dear friends declared their love for one another in front of all their family and friends. I was blessed to play a part in their special day and for that I am very grateful and honoured. It was such an incredible day in which Claire and James dedicated love for each other and entered into a God centred marriage.

I look over the photography by the very talented David and Belle from We Are Origami Photography and I am left speechless.
You can find David and Belle at www.weareorigami.com.au
Here are some of my long list of favourites from the day.

Note: None of these pictures were taken or owned by me.

6 years

On the weekend we celebrated our 6 years.
Whenever people hear that they stare at me, and you can see them trying to work out how old I am to have a boyfriend for 6 years. Half the time I feel like I need a sign on my forehead saying "We were in year 9!", unless I just tell people I am ridiculously good/young looking for a 30 year old!

We went to the Blue mountains on Saturday because I chose double pay at work over our anniversary on Sunday. - thats how you know you've been dating for a while, when Dom tells you "Take the money!".   We went for a lovely hike and realised the weather changed its mind every ten minutes, which allowed the photos to come out lovely and green with rainbows once the fog lifted and the rain cleared.

We also went to a Greek restaurant and Bay Vista on Sunday night, who managed to get our order wrong three times!

I had such a lovely weekend with you Dom, I am so blessed to be your best friend and girl you call to come watch football on foxtel as you dont have your own. Your the greatest and funniest person I know and I kinda like you.

You took this photo just after I had made the greatest timed stack in the world. We always have had this little joke that whenever I do something remotely adventurous you call out "Woah! Your Bear Grylls daughter!".  So as we were hiking I yelled "Come on Dom, hurry up! Woo! Im Bear Gryl---- " I was down, all my weight landing on one knee. Post crying then laughter, you took this photo.

I will never forget hiking down to where that waterfall is, half an hour each way to stand right next to it. Only to get there and not being able to see a thing because the weather turned and the fog meant we couldn't see two feet ahead of us!
